This is the station I have obviously used more in London. The Piccadilly line was the line I took for going from Wood Green to Holborn. This journey was 25 mins. Approximately, I normally took the tube at 9.00 o clock. So at 9.30 I was at the office. My office from Holborn Station is 2 minutes walk more or less.
The entrance of the building is in the right side of the wall “Dragon Court” you see in the picture. Every single person who worked in the building had his/her own card, this is for security reasons. Also for taking the lift I had to pass the card to get into my office. There were 3 companies in the building, and my company was in the 3rd floor.
This was my desk, I was near the kitchen which is good and bad. Good because I can take the food quite fast, but bad because all the people was near my desk. This picture is taken in my last days in the company, which my task was to send cards over to 400 people, in the task I had to find out the addresses in the intranet of the company. We were 35 people in the company so it was quite big company.
Every Friday we had a meeting at 5.00 o clock. This was really interesting. They bought beers and food and it was like an informal meeting. In the meetings, Robert the white haired man in the picture which is the Managing Director of the company said how the week had been. Then the Account Managers Director said her notes of the week, after that the Finance Director said how much we earned in the week, then the Marketing Director Sheema which was my boss said how the week had been. This was quite good, because I was the only person who worked with her, so that, my name appeared in the meeting every week. And finally the Sales team Director said how many contracts were done.
The meeting was an excuse to start to drink and we used to have lots of birthdays in the company or parties and we usually went to have some beers or cocktails to another pub.
This parties were really good. In the picture above you won´t know, but every single person is from a different country. There is a Kiwi (The usual name for New Zeeland people) a Southafrican boy a Spanish and an English girl.
My daily life was usually like this normally, which was really interesting. Every day I had something different to do which is very good.
